Vision

I saw a line unending, of people great and small,
Through the threads of fleeting time, they march, prepared for all.
The mighty walk with meek ones, their hands entwined with care,
They cry and laugh together, bound for the Father’s lair.

And when a soul does falter, too weary to proceed,
They’re lifted high and carried, like a lamb in time of need.
They share their bread and treasures, their hearts and all they hold,
No hunger grips outstretched hands, no spirit remains cold.

They journey toward the morrow, where timeless day shall reign,
Beneath the sighs of struggle rings a laughter through the pain.
For these are souls with futures, who’ve heard the whispered call,
And follow now His footsteps—the Shepherd of them all.
